I believe the best days deserve to be remembered in both photo and film.

It started in the most personal way. Paxton picked up a camera to photograph and film his sister in law’s wedding just for fun, thinking he would simply help capture a few memories for the family. But somewhere between the nervous laughter, the vows, and the way everyone looked at each other when the music started, something clicked. He realized he did not just love taking photos and video. He loved preserving what a day feels like.

That spark led him to sharpen his craft through two years of study at The Art Institute of Seattle. From there, he began practicing by photographing weddings for friends, then for clients, building experience one celebration at a time. Along the way, he has been grateful to work with couples across the country, from Seattle and San Diego to Miami and Boston, and he never takes the trust lightly.

Today, Paxton is based in Atlanta, Georgia and has spent the last 8 years documenting love stories with an elegant cinematic style. Think real moments first, beautiful composition always. He is drawn to the in between parts of the day: the deep breath before you walk in, the quiet squeeze of a hand, the way your people show up, the split second you realize, this is it. Those are the moments that matter, because those are the ones you will want to feel again years from now.

His approach is simple: keep you comfortable, stay present, and capture your day as it truly felt. You will never be forced into anything that does not feel like you. Just calm direction when you need it, space to be yourselves, and timeless images and film that bring you right back to the joy.
